getting pictures

i have read the sticky, i have searched the forum, i could probably start my own gallery, this might sound ignorant but , how do you take the pictures to put in your gallery, i'm not computer illierate, i'm computer stupid, so if you could fill me in i'd appreciate it

With a camera.

Digital & use the program to upload to the hard drive
or

a scanner to take a picture of a picture & then upload that.

After you upload the pic to your local hard drive you can edit it in photoshop etc so it is the right size. When finished, you upload it into your gallery here.
