Ranger Tailgates

I've happened to noticed that some model Ranger's i see out on the road have "Ford" written on the tailgate in the lower right hand side like the B-Series trucks have "Mazda". What models/years were these trucks and why didn't they continue this?

Diabolic,
I couldnt give you years or anything but I am pretty sure those were on the lower base models of the Rangers. You know, like the plain chain, no bells or whistles.

the sticker lettering was from 93

ive seen old school rangers like my 89 with the lettering, but they may have changed the tailgates or somethin. personally, i kinda like the tailgate lettering more than my stock tailgate.
