88-97 2.3L the same?
I have a 88 Ranger with the 2.3L. It's nearing end days (210,000 miles) and I'm looking to replace it but keep this truck for a parts truck because it has some newer parts, such as the starter, alternator, etc.
Would the parts listed above work on any Ranger with a 2.3L? Just curious how similar they are, or was there a major change on the 2.3L in the early/mid 90's? Ideally I'm looking for an early 90's Ranger, but was wondering if a later model became available for the right price, such as a 97, if parts from my 88 would work if I needed them?
