Engine Surge

I have a 1990, 5.8, E4OD, only on a cold start, I mean any time engine cools down,and I go to start, do I get the surging. After engine is up to temp no problem. No codes, Any suggestions.

Try cleaning the IAT sensor that's in the intake tract. Also, try replacing the ECT sensor. It's a cheap part, and is worth it in the long run.
