Hey, anybody else notice " clamp creep " on the air filter clamp? The filter end is made of tapered hard plastic and the clamp works its way towards off. hasn't come completely off but it moves. Besides that I should have put one of these on a long time ago.
well i screwed up, i put the tymar totally on, then shut the hood and smashed the filter. the pipe was too long so i have to cut some off the end where the filter goes, because it 1/4 inch from the inner fender and when i shut the hood, the hing hit the filter and smash it, glad i got two filters. oh well i try again when it stops raining. you guys watch the clearence on the hood hing.
well tymar done again, very nice, I like it, like the sound, wife likes it too. very glad i bought it, now i need a vacume pump. bearings shot in pump and i have no idea where to buy one.

Use the e-mail address. Dale got back to me quickly with a some questions about my truck. I replied to him and again he quickly responded with a quote and directions on how to order.
BTW, once you open the box and see the filter, you better be sitting down! This looks like a filter that Kenworth or Peterbilt are using!
I saw in another thread that a guy had the same clamp slip problem so he took two of the larger office rubberbands and put them side by side on the plastic part where the clamp sits (clamps)...no more "clamp walk" try it out, I'll get my tymar once the darn thing starts runnin' again!
