1995 ranger front end issues.
i have a '95 ranger 4.0 4x4, 5spd. anyway its been a great truck until it hit 170,000. i was going down the road and it started pulling hard to the left, real hard. i pulled over and stopped, tried to turn the wheels to the right but they wouldnt turn any further than strait, when i forced them it made a loud bang and then continued to turn fine. a couple days before that it started giving me feedback when i would turn, like it wanted to keep turning, and i had to tighten my wheel bearings. the only thing i found wrong now was the outer u-joints were seized up so the axles would only move one way. my question is, will junk u-joints on your outer axles cause your truck to steer funny, or not at all???? also do i have a dana 35?? how can i tell??
