tranny 99 Explorer?
Ok, here goes. I don't think I am losing my mind. I have a 1999 XLS Explorer with 20,500 miles on it. When it is hot out, anyways this is only when I notice it, when I start it up and drive for a bit and then stop(to pick someone up, or run in somewhere and leave it idling), and then when I start to drive again about 5 seconds later if I am going like 10-15 miles an hour or so to get going it feels like my tranny slips into neutral for a second or two and then it catches again and off I go. The RPM's rev up and it feels like it goes into neutral and then "catches" and goes. It only happens for like a second or two though and after that it drives perfect. No problems or slipping. I hope this made sense! Please help. I have the warranty still and bought the extended warranty so I am covered. :7 Anybody else had this problem.
