Mozilla security update .

Hi all , just in case dont know, you should go and update your Mozilla browser , to patch a security bug .

http://www.mozilla.org/security/shell.html

It don't happen much with mozilla and when it does they fix it pretty quick .
So you are still a lot safer using this than IE !
Also it only affects Mozilla users on MS computers , not those running Linux , or Mac OS for that matter !

So really it's a windows problem

Good luck all !
Happy surfing

Only affects windoze users. Now there's a big surprise. Mozilla is good software, but when it (or any other quality software) runs on windoze, its like putting a bulletproof glass in a thatch hut.

That's because Bill wouldn't hire programmers with any experience that knew anything. All he hired for many years were coders right out of school with no real world experience. He then indoctrinated them with his programming rules. Unfortunately the base code of windows is full of problems now, -rotten to the core.

Yeah, that and the fact that M$ has never really written an OS at all. They've bought code from others and put all those wonderful "features" (read: BUGS) in it.... Linux took some getting used to, but I'd never go back to a microshaft OS as my primary system.

I just switched to FireFox on my laptop. I am really starting to like it. The only reason I was staying with IE was the google toolbar, and now it is available for FireFox. yay!

For anyone who isn't already aware of this, you can set Mozilla up so you can search from the URL (address) field. To do this, click Edit -----> Preferences, then expand the Navigator field and click Internet Search. The top field is Default Search Engine. There are only 3 choices, but Google is one of them. Select the one you want and click the OK button. Now you can just type your search terms in the URL field and arrow down to Search Google For...... and hit return. It feeds your search terms to the search engine and brings up the results. At first I thought "big deal", but now I use it constantly.

That search button in the top right corner will bring up the search site of your choice also.
