New to trucks
Hello, my name is Nick and this week I will pick up (lol) my first truck. It's a white 1997 F-150 V-6 long bed. I'm pretty sure it's the standard "work truck". Vinyl seats, rubber floow mat. But, I picked it up for the best price ever, free 
I've been really impressed with the quality of these forums. A lot of automotive forums are really crappy, but most everyone here is very helpful and knowledgeable.
I'll post some pics as I pick it up and start fixing and cleaning it up.

FREE!!! Where do I get mine?? I had a 98 "work truck" and sold it with 168,000 on it in 2003. That truck had no problems at all. Good solid truck. Congratulations on getting the truck and finding FTE.

My uncle picked a couple up a while ago, sold one for more than he paid for the 2 of them, then gave this one to his dad.
His dad is an electrician, and had an accident a while back. They didn't want to deal with fixing it and asked if I wanted it
I just got a house with a garage, and I've been looking for a project for some time. This was just a great opportunity.
