on my 04 f-150 5.4 i have glass packs and it is very quiet at idle after it has been started for about 2 minutes. when you first crank it it pretty loud, but then it quiets down. You cant hear it in the cab and its still hard to hear standing by the pipes. It gave it some power you can tell.

 

Hey, highstrung can you give me your magnaflow part #? I'm wondering did you change just the muffler, and not the pipes. I'm also in the market for magnaflow. Thanks

 

If you notice on your truck, there only one pipe coming out of the stock muffler. With the magnaflow that i bought, it is single in and dual out. he replaced the in pipe as well as added both out pipes to stick out of the rear of the truck. I will take pics and post if it would help. I will get the part number tonight also.
