where could i find the original ford 352 valve covers that say ford on them not power by ford

My 65 352 valve covers do not say Ford on them...

i would think a junk yard would be your best bet.

A junk yard want 119.00 for valve covers.......You have got to be kidding me....... I would never go back to that place, Their to proud of their $h1T.
Hell i could By a sheet of aluminum and make several sets of my own custom for that much.

hell i got a set of those out in my tool box not evn using them, i took them off when i put the shiny ones on. (chrome does help you go faster, less wind resitence)

Those old original valve covers develope cracks around the bolt holes then leak oil down on the motor. You can get a set of chrome ones for around 50 bucks that have "Ford" stamped on them. I took mine off and through them away because of leaks.

Mine did too. I think its from years of over tightening. A good set of billet covers or If they make a kind of ring thingy that can be placed over the hole pattern...would more evenly distribute the load and not promote stress cracking in the bolt area. Heck you could make your own...one for the top row and one for the bottom out of a pies of alluminum, a strip running from front to back would spread the load and save your cover and it would help prevent leaks.
