after the install of a chip, tuner, module etc, doesn't a more free flowing
exhaust help out a little on power, lower egt's, & fuel economy? Also
who's impressed with the open flow intakes (the kind that you just put
the new box & filter in). And has anyone ever had their boost gauge
not work after starting it up and driving about 300 feet & it then it pick up
and work?
the main thing a freer flowing inakte and exhaust do is lower egts..which increases effieciency....gives you the potential to add more fuel(more power) and lets the turbo spool up faster and higher
your boost gauge shouldnt read unless your engine is under load....it wont show anything idling or creeping along...if you mat it it hsould read
well i know if you drive normal it wouldn't show anything until your rpms rise pretty
good, or hold a gear for awile while at say, 1600 or higher. But I got on it & it
should've showed bost building up. Im not that worried about it it did fine today.
