Help!!! Need Black Bed Rail Caps
I am trying, and trying to find black plastic bed rail caps for my 2001 F250 SD w/ short bed. I see them all over for earlier years but none for my style. Basically, all I want is BLACK original caps instead of the goofy grey ones it came with. I need the tailgate piece also. Thanks!

The ones you have are called medium platinum, what you appear to want is the black ones. Depending on trim level and color both were available. Go see your local Ford parts people and tell them you want the black version of the basic part number 291A40. When they enter that number your items will come up. Be prepared to bleed ... if I did it right (I'm not a parts person) they're $90+ each! If you ask nice they might cut you a little slack on an order with a down or pre-payment.
