Does anyone use Wolfs Head oil? I use to use it consistently when it was available. I wish I could still get it. I think it cost something like 87 cents a quart. Does anyone have any opinions on this oil? Does anyone know where to get it?
Theres a neighborhood parts store here in NJ that has(or had last time I was there)it.
The only reason I know is that I needed a qt of nondetergent SAE30 and that was the brand I got.
Wolf's Head Oil was a small oil and gasoline company in Oil City, PA. Bought by Pennzoil in 1963.
Yup that’s true but the Wolfs Head brand continued to be distributed. I use to buy the oil at Sears Hardware until they stopped selling it sometime in 2000. I have seen the transmission fluid on occasion at Napa but not the oil.
