Unhappy My not so good sea foam experence

I went with everyones recommedation here and bought a can of seafoam for $6.25 and warmed my trucks up-86 f150 stang 5.0, 78 f250 300I6 and put about 8oz in one glass and 8 oz in onther and pulled the boster line off both trucks and stuck them in the glasses and both engines dies but restarted right up and I continued the proccess and my 86 boged badly so I pulled the hose out and it reved up so I stuck it back it and it ran really rough and slightly smoked and I shut off and waited 10 minutes and restarted NO smoke what and it is back to running great like it did before I ran the seafoam and my 78 started running really rough and died and started right back up and then it finitshed the glass so I shut her down and waited 10 mintues and no smoke- I think I wasted $6 did I di anythging wrong? Both trucks were at idel
thanks,
Dustin

Perhaps you burned all the Seafoam off before shutting the engine down and there was none left in the cylinders to smoke upon restart.
When I did it, I ran two batches thru.
the 1st was slowly added so that the engine never really bogged down.
the 2nd was added faster until the engine coughed and died. I let it sit like that for 10 mins. Upon restart I had a smoke machine for about 5 seconds.
Either way, I'd guess you got whatever benefit the treatment was able to provide. No harm done is my guess.

Drive it for a few miles after you do this too, it has to get hot and burn all out.
