dome light help

ok, my little idiot light wont turn off and my dam dome light is always on, i have a sticky sensor i know, but what can i do to get this to quit, i had to pull the bulb, but i have to pull the keys to get it to quit beeping everytime i leave the truck

Try spraying some WD-40 on the latches,you know,the latch part of the door that grabs the little post.BTW,what year is your truck?

Do what Vin 95 said. The switch is actually inside the door latch. Spray WD-40 inside the door latch, and open/close the door a few times, should do the job. If not, a new switch is probably around $12 from Ford, but you have to remove the door panels to get to them.
