The Horn doesn't work either ...the horn relay and steering wheel is working... the fuse is good ... again this subject is not in the chilton ... I will be getting a new manual soon. But I have 3 weeks to get this thing ready. I really appreciate the help . Thanks Marty.
unplug the horn under the hood and meter the horn wire to ground, should have battery voltage when the horn button is pressed. if it does the horn is bad if it doesnt then you need to trace the wire for a break.if you dont have a meter a test light will do.
what is not in the chilton the diagnosing directions or the whole horn deal?
When I press mine it sounds like a Mr Bean car, its so quite and stupid sounding for such a big bronco(Either it went bad or I lost a high/low). I want a LOUD replacement that will go in place of the current one w/o much modification. Is there a high and a low on the Bronco?
Anyone have any recomendations for a loud horn? (Brand or type)
