damn, what now!!!!
ok, my '88 ranger has a hard time starting, she back fires coming out of first gear,not loud but like a soft pop,pop. i also smell exhaust in the cabin .pls tell me what to do. thx very much.

There's alot of possibilities. What engine is it? How's the tune-up parts, fresh? Are there any leaks in the exhaust system?
On the main board here at FTE, there's a forum for Rangers & B-Series. There's a "sticky" called "Technical Information". Brouse through there to locate info that pertains to your truck.
