Hi everyone, I need a step by step on how to separate the the np203 range box from the rest of the transfer case. I've read the chiltons but i know someone here could probably expain it better and in more detail...and in plain english!! thanx

Well thanks for the reply, but I figured it out last night with my brother and we disassembled it.
Just to clarify, what i meant was taking off the actuall crawler part from the np203 out. the np203 is made of 4 different housings. a aluminum output tail, another small aluminum housing infront of the tail, a cast iron housing that holds 2 large gear and the chain, and then a cast iron range (crawler box). I wanted to separate the range box from the rest of the transfer case. all is well now, and im on my way to having a np203 and np205 dual transfer case setup. yee haa!
