Negative Camber issue, Please help!!!

I have a '93 Ford F-250 ext. cab, 4x4, 7.3L. I bought it a couple of weeks ago and I have no experience with maintenance on 4x4s. My truck is displaying bad negative camber bilaterally. What should I look at to determine the cause? Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Look for worn balljoints or axle pivot bushings. Test for worn balljoints by lifting the wheels off the ground and shake the tire vertically to feel for slop. Also have someone else shake it and you watch the relationship between the axle yoke and the streeing knuckle for movement.

You have worn out front leaf springs...go get an add-a-leaf.

I would suspect bj's, but you can always take it to an alignment expert.

Thanks guys this gave me a place to start. How hard is it to replace the bj's and/or to add-a-leaf?

not hard at all. just search around and talk to a mechanic maybe! it's fairly easy

and as for the add a leaf you just have to get the leaf pack where you can un-bolt it add the leaf in and then bolt it back! simple enough
