torque1 ya i have a crack in my shroud and was going to make a new fiberglass one that matches it but figured i would go electric instead...
do you thing there is a demand for a reproduction?..eh rather a replacement inspired by the original...lol

If I remember right you can get replacements for many years. Check the model forums.

I got a replacement shroud for my '79 a few years back. Should be able to maybe still get one from Ford.

I just rivet some Al or stainless sheet and glass a patch over it, but some folks care more about looks that function, so this may not be for you, but it does work well and is almost free.

Those perforated plates that are used for repairing framing lumber make great patches. Bend them to fit then pop rivet them on and coat the plate area with epoxy. The holes in the plate allow you to work the epoxy in. Make sure you sand the shround and the plate.
