I have a 98, 2wd 4 cylinder Ranger. It's running well, but it does this strange thing while idling. Everyone once and a while, the RPM's will start dropping until I hear this click sound from the engine compartment, then it will go immediately back to idling at the normal RPM.
Does anyone know what this is? It doesn't seem to be affecting how my truck drives, but I'd like to fix it if I can.
