Efi is more controlled so it gets precise fuel metering hence better mpg.

Well, when I can go 50 miles on a trip and the gas gauge barely moves at all, maybe that will give some indication. The same trip might take 1/8th of a tank before. However, if I get on it, it goes down just as fast. That O2 sensor is a nice thing to have for mileage!

OBTW, since it has developed an oil hemmorage, I have stopped driving it until I get that fixed. Thus, I cannot give any numbers. However, I think they'll be great. I'll keep everyone posted.

I get 40 miles on a 1/4 of a tank! thats with the 19 agllon rear tank! Good luck with the oil repairs Kurt!

I've never used or even seen a side winder, so I couldn't make a vaid comment there. Just by looking at the two side by side, they look to be about the same in performance, I wouldn't expect a huge difference there.
