what is the widest tire that will steer and not rub on a stock 66 step side with factory lift the reason i ask i was thinking about 40s in the back an 50s in the front
I was running 235 70/15 on the front of my 64 with no ill effects. I know the 66 uses twin beams but you should still have plenty of room. Out back, I think you will fit 50 series tires since you have a stepside bed.
i have 4 inchs of lift . no real rubbing problems unless i flex the crap out of her. only problem i got is waiting on a good day off to start the power steering conversion
