If you street drive it don't waste the bucks on the drag radials.. the sidewalls are too soft and adversely effect handling if you get on a winding road. Better off with a big fat Street radial. Also Drag radials suck in rain or any water or sand for that fact.... There are a few street radials made for drag racing also namely Mickey Thompson's! big fat wide tires with enough tread to be legal, and drive-able....

Oh, I'm also running a rear with the wider drum brakes from I think a '68 model; it's definitely the wider brake version and I think the overall width of that is slightly different so your stock rear may be able to use a different backspacing for the same clearance.

I already answered that question for you!
I have 18x10's on rear with 285/40x18's and they fit fine

Just for sake of clarification 18X10 is a rim or wheel size - !8 in Diameter by 10 in width.. usually it is followed by the bolt pattern such as 8 X 6.5 - 8 bolts by 6.5 inch spacing.. See attached for example:
Wheels at SummitRacing.com: Center Line, American Racing, Weld, Cragar, Billet Specialties & more
wheels - JEGS High Performance
If the tire sizing is an 18X10 what you would then have is tires for either an ATV or a small golf cart. See attached:
STI Tech 4 MX ATV Tire | ATV | Rocky Mountain ATV/MC
As for tire sizing the common standard now is metric, P-metric, or Eurometric, with the exception of some light and medium truck tire size , Rather than go into a long explanation I have attached an expert explanation from Tirerack:
Tire Tech Information - Tire Size Guide
Hopefully that gets everyone on the same page....... for those who may still not understand it go visit your local tire retailer.. unless your local retailer hangs his tires from a tree to promote business then you might want to call the civilized world on the phone...
Sorry for the I now return you to your regularly scheduled programming CHEERS!
