explorer/mountaineer rebates?

jeff,i have a friend who might want to buy a new 04 if the moneys right.
leather is not important, v6 is fine , 3rd seat is important. any info would be a big help. zip code is 45050

I've got a 2004 XLT V6, only option is the 3rd seat. MSRP is $32955, invoice is $30079. FTE price is $24879 with the rebates.

thanks jeff, but the payment is going to be to much even with a 3500 trade in. he got a family and budjet , are the explorer"s a better deal....?

Are they a better deal than what? The Mountaineer? I have yet to see a Mountaineer that's priced anywhere near an Explorer; they're usually loaded to the gills. Maybe I don't understand the question.........
