I can't believe the weight of those things. Isn't the front axle alone close to 700 pounds??? But then again I guess that's why they can handle the heavy tonnage.

Yuck! How much work/cost is involved in going to disc brakes or are most guys using the pinion brake instead? I've seen some of the professional setups converting to disc but their prices are insane.

thats why you dont see many people running rockie son the road...thats where they become "not so cheap" pinion brakes are ok for the trail, but they are dangerous on the road.....

ive never seen or heard of a homebrew setup for 4 wheel discs on rockies...just the 2 grand setups from place slike usa6x6 and chucks trucks

thats the only thing stopping me from putting rockies under my truck....i wanna still be able to driv eit on the road occasionaly

Hmm, guess it's time to start saving my pennies. We'll see how well rockies and full hydro 4 wheel steer does on the street. Cool thing is from as high as I'll be sitting it won't matter much if I can't stop.

Now that's what you call dobne right. Now if it had about 1/2 the lift and some flared fenders it'd be perfect
