C.O.P. or injector?
I have a F-150 4.6 with 107,000 miles. I have a code that came up misfire on #2 the truck was running rough, I ran a can of Fuel injector cleaner through the service port, still running rough ran another can, checked the plug on #2. Swapped #2 and #1 C.O.P. hoping the code would return as #1 misfire than I know to change the coil, but after 5 days the code never returned but the truck is still running rough. I do not want to change Coil or the injector if not required, any suggestions?

Whats the year, I don't think 4.6's come w/ C.O.P's. To check the injectors while it's running you can put a mechanics stethiscope and listen if it's clicking, or you can just put you fingers on it and feel for a pulse. If you still can't tell, pull the connector off the fuel injector and see if that makes if a difference in the way the engine is running.

There is a post on here somewhere that tells how to test these w/ an ohm meter, I'll do a little digging and see if I can find it. Did find aftermarket cops though, http://www.granatellimotorsports.com/pr068.htm.
