I posted this one a long time ago, but remember the chevy commecial w/the avalanche where the two guys say wanna switch?Well Ford should do one like that except when they get out to switch they get in a Ford instead and drive off!
I have a better one. Have the chevy die while its trying to pull out the tree, then the Ford comes over hooks up to the chevy and the tree and pulls them both out and the tree and falls on the chev.
I heard someone say once that Ford should come out with a commercial where they hook up to the same tree then instead of it streching the truck the Ford rips the tree out of the ground then the words Built For Tough come up on the screen. Sounds like a winner to me.
Dan
Thats deffinetly a Ford for ya.
But of course you would probably have a soccer mom try and pull up a big tree, tear the beautiful Ford up, and then sue for false advertising lol.

Great Idea!
Take it a step further...
The Ford keeps pulling til the Chevy pops in half. The Ford then drags the front half of the Chevy off to the side and parks it. Then he takes out a chain saw, cuts up the tree and puts the logs into the bed of the Ford and into the severed bed of the Chevy. Then after hooking the Chevy bed to the hitch, the Ford drives off with the Chevy bed being used as a trailer...with the Chevy driver standing there scratching his head while he's sitting in what's left of the front half of his truck.
I wuish I had a copy of a tape that had all the ford truck commercials from the last 20 years. That would make for some interesting viewing. You would be hard pressed to find a lot of advertising for ford trucks on any medium. The Ford name sells itself. They dont need to do much advertising. But chevy bombards you with advertising. Do you have the right truck? They keep asking. Yeh its a Ford its the right truck. How about the latest gimmick from Chevy $5,000 loyalty rebate. Thank you for being a GM owner heres $5,000 please dont buy a Ford. Who says the new 150 has made it rough for the General. It sure has. Even last month with this rebate. GMs truck sales were down 14%. Just so happens those 14% have a Ford in the garage now. And dodge the catchall phrase Does it have a Hemi. Just that saying has sold some trucks for Dodge sad isnt. Im done blowing here> Some more hot air from 150ford.

It took me a few views to get the Tree vs. Chevy commercial, too.
Personally, I'd like to see them drop the Fords again ("Built Ford Tough", like they used to in the late '70s. This time, though, I'd like to see someone get in and drive it off.
