Hi, I have a 89 F150 with 25k on it it is lifted 6" by suspension and has 35" M/T Km's on it i havent been happy with how it sits sionce i lifted it as the back end seems quite a bit higher than the front end. yesterday i bought coil spacers that claim to raise the front end a Inch and a half, has anyone else put these in and what were their results. thanks in advance
thats weird I wouldn't think you would need coil spacers with a 6" lift because I thought it would level the truck out. I would just take the lift block in the rear out and see if that helps. easier to do then the coil spacers and less axle wrap in the rear.
After I put my 4" lift on my nose sat low as compared to the tail too, so I used the lower coil buckets for a 4x2 since i had them hanging around. They're over an inch taller than the 4x4 buckets and leveled me out quite nicely. Since you've recently had the lower spring retainer nut loose it'll be ALOT easier to put the coil spacers in than to pull your rear blocks.
I helped my buddy put a set of coil spacers on his stock 96 4x4, Afterwards we went to get it aligned and had to replace the cambers and they still couldnt get it properly aligned (noticably bad toe in). We then took them off and put on a suspension lift it aligned perfectly, the alignment shop said whenever you lift a truck you must drop the axel. Since your truck has a lift on it it may have large enough drop brackets to compensate for the extra lift, After seeing what it did to his truck however I would look for a smaller block in the rear.
