Always My Fault??

Yuh yuh yuh A yuh. I like the tough talk from all the guys about not taking the guff from their women. They all mention they are not married. Har har har har, oh my side hurts. Us married guys know better. Live and learn You WILL get yours, ar ar ar ar. This is too funny.

I talked tough too when I was single and knew no woman of mine would give me trouble. Lots of strange notions go through single guys minds. I think it is nature's way of sucking us nto something we otherwise wouldn't do. I now know better and keep my mouth shut. Ever notice the word for women before marriage is girlfriend, after marriage it's wife. There's a reason for the difference.

I am being facetious here. But I remember a friend of mine when he was single talked tough and he and his fiance had a bit of a falling out, she wanted to date a few other men. He didn't care for that and told me he would straigten her out. I had tears in my eyes and had severe carpet burns from rolling around on the floor. Needless to say, he straigtened her out alright, she married some other poor sob. har har har.

Like they say "Men will always be disappointed if they think their women will never change". I love my wife but there are times when I think even the law wouldn't blame me if I killed her. Har har har.

Too funny. Talk tough young man, you'll understand some day.

Always My Fault??

Ya I talk tough too, until my wife catches me. Then its YES DEAR. All kidding aside, I've been married 34 years. 24 the first time, and just celibrated my 10th this time. I know when to speak up and when to shut up. When she tells me to shut up, its time to shut up. LOL

Always My Fault??

On my wedding day my dad told me something that he said would save my marrage, just 2 little words, YES DEAR. and so far it has worked.

for the ones with all of the answers about wives, it gets really cold and lonely out on the couch.

I happened to get a new garage door after mine fell on her mercedes. I was in trouble because I parked her car in the garage. (Mind you that she had to have a space in the garage) We have now established the fact that you have to look to see if the door is open before backing out(just because you hit the button doesn't mean that it has opened)

but to make her happy she now has a new opener(hint hint yetti) and I have the old one on one of my other doors (funny, it seems to be working fine now)

As Jim stated, the ones talking tough are the ones that are SINGLE. Keep talking and you will keep on being single. Hmmmmmmm, if you are not going to take any guff why are you even looking for a female?

The best analogy to accepting the blame (even if it is not your fault) I can think of is how big of a 2X4 do you need to be hit with? 2ft? 4ft? 8ft? You know what - they ALL hurt. Personally I try to stop at the 2ft one because the others are sure to follow, although sometimes I continue to argue and forget about the next one coming at my head I always pay for that.

If you are not going take guff off from your wife then good luck keeping a job and getting along with the world. More power to you. Personally I enjoy my wifes company and intend to keep on being married. Yes Dear, I'll be right there.

Always My Fault??

All this talk reminds me of an old joke I herd years ago. A newly wed couple finely gets to the hotel after the wedding and reception. As the where get ready to consummate the vows the husband tells the wife to put on his pants. She quickly say’s dear I can’t wear your pants they are too big for me. The husband then tells her to remember that he is the one that wears the pants in the house! The wife then tells her new husband to put on her panties and he say’s but dear they are to small I would never be able to get in to them and she quickly replies JUST YOU REMENBER THAT!

Always My Fault??

I will remain single if I keep this attitude according to one poster. Fine by me. I find no magic feeling just because the papers at the courthouse say I'm married. If I have to have my ***** removed just for the sake of calling myself married I will call myself single. Really guys I wouldn't be giving relationship advice considering the sad state of affairs at your houses.

Wow!

Around here it is, if you did something like what happened here,YOU are fully responsible for what you do.Then you make amends to correct it.
Michelles' daughter once, was carrying a full 24 pack of beer and the handle ripped, from her carrying it in-correctly.
Needless to say the box gave way and hit the ground breaking
4 bottles the first she did was look at it hold her hands to her mouth and say:
"It's not my fault".She soon found out she was responsible.
Michelle wouldn't have me any other way.
She has seen too many of my friend's that are whipped and thinks they are Queen's.

Always My Fault??

Stab - married yet. Ooops, forgot, REAL men don't have to make a commitment (have a piece of paper to let them know they are married)because they have enough testosterone to allow them to be right in all situations, all the time, no matter what. They have the unique ability to see clearly in all instances the one and only correct way and they know if they are right then by all means no other answer could possibly be correct for they are RIGHT! Ugh! Me man, me right.

Or would that just be a sad state of affair at my house, commit to be married, care and support for my wife and children, swallow my pride at times in order to continue to be blessed with the most beautiful, wonderful woman who walks the earth (for me at least and if you ask other HAPPILY married men I belive they will tell you THEY married the most wonderful woman on the earth). I guess being married means I can see beyond my own arm and look at another perspective. Is it perfect? No. Do I get blamed for things that are not my fault? Yes. Would I trade my wife and family for anything? NO!

Don't get angry, just having some fun. That is the beauty of this site, differing opinions.

It took me a long time to learn that I am not always right even when I think I am. Remember the 2x4's?

Good luck in life and if you can live it without any type of compromise, even better. Me? I'll take the compromises in order to have riches beyond gold.

If you don't understand what I am talking about, I can relate because before my wife allowed me to marry her (yes I said allowed me, she was the who had the power to agree or not to get married - I asked her) I did not understand either.

Hey Yeti and Mil1lion - thoughts?

Other than : "You pretty well nailed it" Slow ,
&
All I was saying was, that around here, everything runs much smoother when the offending party accepts that, manure happens, and that life goes on with nary a thought about it.

It's Like" Okay, I screwed up " let's fix or replace it and move on"
