I recently bought a pair of '57 ECZ-G heads and I'm not sure exactly what the best way to store them is. Right now they have a light coating of surface rust, but I'm in Nevada so the humidity is pretty low....
Are they fine just to sit out until I can get them ported and rebuilt? Or is there anything special I should do with them to store them?

Get them oily, oil is your preservative, natures protection for iron...Then you wrap them in plastic, (The clear type they use to store camshafts), ....Tie it up or tape it up, and store them where they are away from rain and moisture, that's all there is to it......Janet
