5" Exhaust

I can get a complete system, turbo back from eBay for $380.00 + 50.00 for shipping wich seems like a good price. The question is, will it really help in performance ? I don't want to chip it yet as I only have 620 miles on it and want to break it in. Thanks.

Actually, exhaust is one of the first things you should do, maybe only superceded by gauges to monitor your engine, egt, turbo, etc. and the last thing you should do is the chip after making sure you can keep an eye on everything.

only one thing is constant. air=power and reliability. remember that, and enjoy ur freedom of choice also, a 4" exhaust is plenty for a stock engine. 5" may be needed if u plan on 2 turbos and stackin boxes w/ water injection, but its still only a 3.5/4" downpipe. and the DP is the only thing that really matters

5 inch exhaust? good greif, thats got to be more than the cylinder bore, raccoons will nest in that if you camp overnight in the swamp.

Let me know how you like that exhaust if you get it. I have seen the same one on there and might get one soon.
