It is time to make a purchase . I need to here from you guys that reaserched the different tuners. I am leaning towards the Predator. Can any of you guy's list the pro's and con's of the different tuners?
I like the Predator...
more mpg,
much better drivability,
no speed limiter if you care to remove it,
on line updates via the web ,
everything they advertised is as good or better than they advertised !
dyno numbers readily available on user's trucks (like in my gallery) that verify you get AT LEAST +100 RWHP (and AT the wheels) with no if ands or butts about the phase of the moon, the quailty of this, or the other stuff you might hear about dyno numbers...
easily installed, changed, and removed in 5 minutes from the drivers seat...
NO negatives that I can find....
And the best plus - Call Motorhaven and get it FAST !
Predator = Most horsepower per dollar than anything out there...even nitrous! And yeah everything everyone else has said. Why are you still reading this?? Go get you one and have fun!
I think the edge/attitude is a better buy than predator....6 different power settings that are adjustable on the fly, low boost fueling adjustment, digital display with boost, egt, rpm and back down that is easy to mount where you want. It records max egt, boost and rpm levels, and will automatically backdown fueling at your set egt level.
I don't need diagnostics or code reading and prefer the adjustability and digital display over gauges....which are not included with predator. I have the 6 speed so have no experience with the tranny set ups. Good luck and have fun!!!
