I can't see!!!

Anybody else think the highbeams on these trucks are terrible?? My '99 truck had much better light on high.....on this truck if it wasn't for the dash light I wouldn't know they were on!!

Have you tried readjusting the alignment of the headlights? might help your problem.

I have found the newer style headlights to be MUCH better then the diffuser style.

I "see" your pain...
that's why I upgrade the stock bulbs... then the stock fogs... then got the PIAA 520's you see in my gallery...

I drive too fast to not be able to see :-)

Hard to admit it, but it was more of my agining eyeballs problem than the trucks :-)

Anybody running the"BriteBox" that runs the high/low beams at the same time? I'm curious if that is an improvement. I need all the help I can get in Whitetail country.

I agree that they could be better. Saw a superduty the other night with lights that appeared like xenons. I wanted to chase him down to see what he mods he made. Maybe he just had aftermarket bulbs. Whatever they were, they were impressive. Anyone have any info on this?

Pappy,
I investigated that, but just decided the PIAA's were a better investment for me...
and THEY will throw out a beam a LOT further thant he stock lites no matter WHAT you do to them...

I did however do the SUVlights.com wiring harness, but have had some difficulty with one side staying on ALL the time even when the truck is turned off... so I just disconnected it for now until I can research it...

Called them, and they were of little help...

The dealer aligned my headlights....really don't think that will help that much. The dealer said the highbeams on my '04 should be 10X better than my '99, so far not the case!

Super Uke....
is it just possible that in 5 years our EYESIGHT has gone downhill a bit more than the headlamps have improved :-)

That's why I readily admit I put all those lights up front :-)
