hello all, still new to my explorer ('95 xlt v6)
just curious what the most common/simple
modifications i should consider are.
i will do a custom exhaust as soon as $$$ allows.
efficiency and performance are my primary concerns
(oxymorons seem common here)
i have already added a k&n filter and am happy with it.
also wondering about the largest tires i can fit
on the stock rims/body.
it is a daily driver, but i also spend lots (25%-30%)
time on forest service/logging roads.
all suggestions are appreciated.
thanks in advance
I would upgrade shocks (Ranchos, Explorer ProComp or Gabriels). For tires find a nice A/T in a 31x10.5R15. Put some nice platinum plugs and new wires in. Drill out the airbox and finaly get a set of Warrior shackles for the rear to take out the sag and stiffen the ride a little.
i was wondering if you guys could tell me a good website to go check out them mods you talked about in your post? also will those mods fix my problem where i go over a lil dip and the whole truck shakes? it aint my shocks or anything atleast i dont think it is but anyway plz email me and let me know thanks in advance!
