Searching for performance Exhaust. HELP!
I have a '97 F-150 ext cab 4x4 with a 5.4L looking for performance exhaust that's not too loud and doesn't break the bank any suggestions? Also looking at JCW's Heartthrob kit with Quad tips anyone running these and how do they sound, any performance gains?

Check out the link in my signature. The Gibson line of mufflers is the quietest on the market, with the same power output. My clips will be louder than yours (extra exhaust mods), but it should give you a general idea. Before this bronco, I owned a 01 F150 with the 5.4, and I had a Gibson catback on that as well. It was very quiet in the cab, but had a low note at the tailpipe. I think their aluminized kit goes for 289. I have the stainless kit on this bronco, and thats quite a bit more expensive.
