cam changes
Hi guys and gals,
I gota 86 f 150 4x4, 302 auto over and really tall gears in the difs. running on 31 inch tires. At highway speeds, tach shows around 1850 rpm. Decent power band on this engine is around 2000 to 3000rpm and drops dead at 4000 rpm. Any body got any ideas on lowering the powerband? ( ie say 1500 to 2500 rpm ) or had similar running truck and changed gears to acomadate the existing pwr band. If so, what rpms with change in the gears? And what gear
ratio?
