For me the axle flip was the best option and wasn't hard to do. It doesn't change the ride, just lowers it. Got a picture of it in my gallery

I did see your photos and I thuoght it looked like a good alternative. The mono-leaf is an easy way to get the job done but I think I want to get a little more creative.
I want things to LOOK stock so that people have to really look hard to notice the changes.
I picked the mono for the simplistics involved. I have yet to drive the truck with the mono spring, but with my 230 lbs on the very end of the frame, I cannot bottom out frame to the axle. I think I will have to notch the frame once the bed is on the truck though.
Ok thanks for the input. I will not be hauling anything so weight would not be a problem.....although I will be relocating the fuel tank...this may come into play.
I am just worried about possible spring bounce and then having to play with different shocks to get the damping right
