Question Ignition Key assembly

Hi, I was able to transfer title & am now legal w/ my $350 '72 f 100. Now I need to get it registered, running & home. No keys, just some wires rubbed together to get going. Is there an ignition kit or something I can pick up to install? Also, any resources for local Tucson AZ assistance. I remember back @ UMass they had this wonderful student mechanic shop. I did an entire brake job w/ a mechanical engineer giving me some encouragement & tech assistance is necessary.

Welcome to FTE

Yes there are Ignition switches > tumblers > and ignition switch assemblies still avialable.

Have you looked & asked in the Arizona Chapter ?

I also edited your title.
We prefer user's to title their posts to match the topic at hand.

The words *Help me* or *Newbie* don't help a person looking for a key assembly when searching title's only (the faster way of searching)

Ignition cyl. and switches are widely available at part stores including Autozone. If you want a matched set, then you should order from someone that deals in older Ford truck parts. Though most lock shops will rekey the ign to the door for $10 if you bring the lock into the shop. Which takes a whole 60 seconds to remove from the dash.
