I used a set of FlowTech headers on my 90 that I just swapped to a 429. Good heavy flanges, and the fitment of them was perfect. Cost was around 140 or so from Summit
I put a set of headers on my 97 250HD/w 460. I puchased them through Camping
world, they were advertised as Gibson Headers but when I recieved them they had
"Thorley" Name tags welded on the headers. I had wanted to buy Thorley headers
as they advertised them as adding torque and HP at lower RPM's which makes them
good for a truck used to tow a travel trailer. They were well designed, in my
opinion, fit well and seemed to be well built. I would note these are the first headers
I have had any experience with and they were very exspensive,a little over $600.00.
Am pleased with there performance so far.
Additional note on the FlowTech's I used, they are long tube headers which will require reworking the entire exhaust, altho its not too hard, as the left header pulls in shorter than the right to make it easier to do the crossover pipe under the motor
If You Have Ever Seen The Banks Exhaust Setup On The 460 It's Truley Awesome! The Headers Are Beautiful, Flanges Are Over A Half Inch Thick, Y-pipe Has Excellent Flanges, And The Exhaust Pipe Is 3 1/2" Diameter. The Two Bad Things Is That I've Never Seen The Headers Sold Seperatly And The Kit Price Was Quoted At $1500.00. If You Have The Money, And Want The Best, That Would Probably Be It.

I put a set of Hooker headers on my 460 in a 76 Marquis. It sounds nutty and all but I love a big car/truck with stump pulling torque. I would reccomend getting a total exhaust system designed for your truck. Amazingly such a system was offered for my car so I did it trial and error. It cost a bunch in the long run but it was a bunch of fun.
Additionally, be sure to include a cross-over in the exhaust system behind the headers. It really balances out the engine and provides a great amount of low end torque.
