Finance rebate ?
I was wondering about the 1000 dollar rebate from ford credit. First is this rebate applied at the time of sale like the other rebates. Second is there any rules to getting this rebate such as the term financed or anything else? Also is there any limit to the minimum amount you can finance thru fmc? I want to finance a small portion of my truck but would like to know the minimum allowable.

Ford Credit offices vary as to their standards, but our local one says you have to borrow a minimum of $7,000 for at least 24 months. But you can pay it off once you receive the first statement, without penalty. It works like any other rebate- it's applied at time of sale, you don't have to wait for a check to arrive in the mail from them.
