Vacuum Questions
I probable spelled it wrong.
Can a vacuum leak effect the milage in a diesel 7.3L???
Is the air supposed to blow out of the defroster vents for about 10 sec. when you turn on the AC ??????????
Not sure if I have a leak or not but the vacuum res. needs to fill every time you start the truck after setting for a little while.

Vacuum pumps are used for the heater, hubs and brake booster. Depending on what year your truck is, it may have an electric pump on rh fender or a belt driven pump.
A diesel engine will not have a vacuum leak, only a pressure leak.
