Yes. The early ones, with the canister fuel filter on the pump, had the pump mount bolts fore and aft, while the later carbed engines had the bolts top and bottom. The EFI engines just have a flat pad where the pump would have gone on a carb engine, plus in the early 80's a new dipstick location was made, about an inch above the pan rail, and straight down from the number 5 spark plug. They still had the hole for the earlier center sump dipstick, behind the motor mount, but there was a plug driven in.
