Question 97 evaporator HELP!

Well the air conditioning went out,and I have to replace the evaporator core and removing the dash might be a problem. I went down to the automotive store and picked up the chilton's maual for some help. Is there any other information or sites that might be helpful?
Thankyou

Bummer.

Try to find a factory service manual or cd. I got both on ebay.

Evaporator failure is very uncommon these days. You might be money ahead to go ahead and replace the heater core as well, and inspect the blend door for cracks. That dash is one pain to remove so you might as well do all the maintenance you can in one shot.
