Gas Gauge not working

I have a 99 F250 Super Duty with a V10 and the gas gauge reads full all the time. Is this a ground issue? If so where should I look for the problem? Any help would be great. I am leaving for a long vacation tomorrow and I would like the gas gauge to work. Thanks

My first idea would be to drop the tank and unplug the gauge...Or remove the sensor and check it out..

Just a couple of months ago, a bad batch of gas showed up here in Tampa. It had WAY too high a level of sulphur in it. Most people who bought it ended up with precisely the same symptoms which you describe..... Anyone else you know have the same problem at the same time?
