new headers
I was thinking of putting a new set of headers for my 4.6 f 150 2001, I keep hearing how much difference this well make to my performance,is this true:
I'm not so concered of cost I just want to put on the best.
Also I am planning to do the work myself, for I think that it should not be that tough accept for a couple of cut knuckles and broken nuts.
Any imfo on this question would be appreciated

4 do's and don't when installing

1) kind of depends on where you live for emissions out here in california its pretty strict so not too many choices but other states dont have much for emissions laws
2) definitely worth it
3) shop around where ever you can find the best deal on what you want
4) do take your time and try to find as many people who have put headers on a truck just like yours and get the tips and tricks from them because header installation can be almost completely different from one vehicle to another
5) not sure on numbers as far a hp and torque but you will definitely feel a difference from the stock manifolds make sure also that you have some sort of high flow cat and muffler behind it or you wont get the full effect

Thankyou for your reply, one thing I didn't even consider was the emissions. For I live here in BC Vancouver to be exact, and our veh. have to be tested each year for emissions and they are very strick here on what they allow here but I'm sure that still should be a problam as long as it is done right.
