Steering box lube mixture.....
So, my friend is a lift truck tech and has come up with this lube mixture for some gear boxes (not trannys or other fast moving gears) more like steering boxes and situations like that. He mixes 80% grease and 20% gear oil, packs it in, claims it does not leak out of seals that are prone to leak and are difficult to change, yet it is fluid enough to "fold" back into the gears. What do you-all think?
