Angry Anyone knows about the....

pioneer 6-cd mp3 player? Hi, I'm trying to see if I can find any help/info re: the color wires code on a double din pioneer deck. My ex bf had given it to me from his ford sport track I believed. He no longer needed it because he's planning to put a new stereo unit. So, now I'm planning to use it in my car. However, I'm having difficulty trying to figure out which color wires does what on the pioneer. I have already tooken out my stock deck and also bought one wiring harness as the connector. I have went to other sites/forums asking this same question but seems like I'm having no luck. Ppl are telling me red is the power, etc. but there are no solid red wire on the pioneer only on the wiring harness connector. So, if anyone out there knows anything about the double din pioneer 6-cd mp3 stock deck from ford please let me know real soon. I don't really want to pay about $150 for installation when I can do it myself just that I need to know what color does what. Thanks ford fans.......

Tell me what colors are present and ill tell you which is which if i can.

red = switchable (only comes on whenkey is on)
yellow = constant
blue with white trace = power antenna
black = ground
blue (solid) = amp remote

Now if your speaker wires on that deck are green grey white and purple (and each with a black trace) i will tell you which is which.

Ok, first off there's two connectors that came with the pioneer. A big one and a lil' one. The big one I think is the one needed. Big connector color wires are:

thick black w/green line

thick green w/purple line

thin green w/white line

2 thin white w/purple lines

thin blue w/yellow line

thin tan w/white line

thin blue w/orange line

thin tan w/green line

thin green w/orange line

thin green w/purple line

2 thin red w/black lines

thin black w/copper wire

thick black w/silver wire

The lil' connector wires are:

thin solid green

thin solid black

thin yellow w/black line

thin green w/black line

thin baby blue w/red line

My wiring harness that I bought already have a instruction on what wires are what and also is written on all the wires so I don't have a problem there just the ones that I've mention above for the pioneer unit. Also, I didn't buy the lil' wiring harness. Thought maybe it wasn't neccassry but if it is let me know. Thanks.

I need the colors of the wires directly off the deck, not from a plug, plugged in a plug. You may not have done this but just the same.

Doesn't look like there's a

model # anywhere on the HU. I see one sticker on it but nothing about model #. As for the pioneer color wires...those are the exact color wires which I've listed above for you already. I've listed all the color wires on both the big and lil' attachment that is connected in the back of the pioneer. None of those wires are made up and I wasn't looking at the wiring harness that I bought either. Trust me, those are the color wires I'm having problem with. Hmm...I wonder how I can maybe post the pioneer HU's wires on here.

I was just making sure, and stated so, already. You want help or not??

The model number should be somewhere on the face. I can get the exact diagram you need with that number, is why i asked. I know what a few of them are, but want to be sure.

Adaptor maybe

You may be able to purchase an adaptor to match up the wires without cutting and splicing if the original plug is still on the wires in the car/truck. Be careful of the battery lead. It will zap stuff badly.

Does anyone have the information that aznlily was looking for , I need it for my unit if you know where I can find it please let me know. Seeing how I'm new here I can't send aznlily an e-mail for 15 post or 15 days. Maybe some one could contact them and let them know that I'm looking for the info. (PLEASE)
