Ground Hawgs
Any of you guys interested in ground hawg tires www.tyres1.com is having a pretty good sale on them right now. don't know how long the sale will last but some very good prices. I'm rethinking the ground hawgs at these prices!

Hmm, seems the only one I was interested in (44") isn't on sale. I was seriously looking at these because they're supposed to be good in the mud but great for street wear too. They tend to run about 2" smaller than stated which is okay (I wanted 42" so the 44's would be perfect
). The only thing I didn't like, just for my situation, is the 44's were a bit wide for me and would make for some trouble with "the law".
Still, those prices aren't bad. If the 40's were really 40 I'd probably buy them. Are you going to 95?

You know, at one time I wanted a set of 40s. I even went so far as to put a couple on when I was mounting them on rims for a friend. I took pics and put them in my goofing gallery. Sure would be cool, but the truck would require a few more mods before that-you know the usual 460, more lift, bigger axles...

LOL I just saw you guys posting and I just ordered the 40" Hawgs today. I didn't order the rims yet because lack of money. I'm gonna save for some hummer beadlocks or may just get some steel rims. the only thing is that they are 16.5" rim which blows so I might save and get the hummer bead locks from stazworks. I'm gonna fit them on my truck stock and see what size lift kit will be in order. I'm thinking a 4" skyjacker but who knows it would be cool to get by without a lift and just trim. we'll see!
